When visiting LOHR + COMPANY’s Internet pages, different personal data are processed depending on the type and extent of the use of LOHR + COMPANY’s Internet pages.

B. Personal data processed
The scope of the data processed when using the LOHR + COMPANY internet pages depends on whether you use them purely for information purposes or also make use of the options listed separately below:
1. protocol data and cookies
Every time you call up the start page or a sub-page of our of LOHR + COMPANY’s internet pages, a so-called protocol data record is stored temporarily and anonymously in the so-called server log files. This consists of:
- Your IP address used at the time of calling up the internet page,
- the date and time of accessing the website,
- the Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) time zone difference,
- the amount of data transferred when the website is accessed,
- the message as to whether the call to the Internet page was successful (access status/ttp status code),
- the address (“Uniform Resource Locator” – URL) of the last Internet page from which the respective Internet page was accessed (so-called referrer URL),
- the address (URL) of the accessed internet page,
- the description of the type, language and version of the web browser you are using, as well as
- the description of the operating system you are using.
In addition to the aforementioned data, a so-called persistent cookie is stored on your computer when you use our website.
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your hard drive (assigned to the browser you are using) and through which the website operator can retrieve certain information. Persistent cookies are automatically deleted after a specified period of time, which may vary depending on the cookie. You can delete the cookies in the security settings of your browser at any time. You can configure your browser settings according to your preferences and, for example, refuse to accept third-party cookies or all cookies.
LOHR + COMPANY attaches great importance to your privacy and your trust in us and therefore refrains from all otherwise usual analyses of the behaviour of the users of the internet pages. LOHR + COMPANY therefore does not use cookies to create user profiles or to control advertising. The cookie used by us serves exclusively to determine whether you have taken note of the information on this data protection declaration.
2. contact forms
At various points on our website, but particularly on the “Contact” sub-page, we offer you the simple option of contacting us by filling in a form. In addition to the protocol data according to section 1, the following data will be collected and automatically transmitted to LOHR + COMPANY by a server-generated e-mail:
- the name you entered in the field “Your name”,
- the e-mail address you entered in the field “Your e-mail address”,
- the subject specified by you in the field “Subject” as well as
- the message entered by you in the “Message” field.
3. contact requests by e-mail
If you contact us directly by e-mail (e.g. via the e-mail addresses linked by us), the data provided by you (your e-mail address, your name and the other data mentioned by you in the e-mail) will be transmitted to us and stored by us in order to answer your contact request. We delete the data accruing in this context after the storage is no longer necessary or restrict the processing if there are legal obligations to retain data.
4. applications
If you send us your application by e-mail or by any other means, the data thus transmitted by you will be stored and used for the application procedure. You will then receive a separate data protection declaration from LOHR + COMPANY.
5. social media
At the bottom of our website, there are links to our presence on the social media providers LinkedIn, Xing, Instagram and Facebook. When these presences are called up, the usual log data (see section 1) is transmitted to the respective social media provider. We do not use any plugins from these providers.
Please note that with all links on the Internet, it cannot be prevented that the server of the linked Internet page can also log from which Internet page you previously called up the link. This applies not only to links on our website, but generally to all links on all websites.
On the “Social Media” sub-page, we have also integrated a YouTube video, which, however, will only be loaded and accessed after your express consent. When you call up this video, the usual log data (see section 1) is transmitted to YouTube.
6. DATEV News
On the start page as well as on the subpage “News” LOHR + COMPANY has integrated news offered by DATEV on the basis of an RSS feed with their respective title and links to the news texts. Within the scope of listing the titles and links of these news items, no data is transferred to DATEV. However, if you call up the links, you will be forwarded to the Internet pages of the provider DATEV and the usual protocol data (cf. section 1) will be transmitted to DATEV.
Please note that in the case of all links on the Internet, it is not possible to prevent the server of the linked Internet page from logging the Internet page from which you previously called up the link. This applies not only to links on our website, but also to all links on all websites in general.
C. Transfer of personal data to third parties; justification basis
As with any larger company, LOHR + COMPANY uses external service providers (e.g. hosting as well as technical support) for the operation of the IT system and especially of these internet pages. These service providers are only active according to the instructions of LOHR + COMPANY and are contractually obliged to comply with the data protection regulations according to Art. 28 DS-GVO.
D. Purpose and legal basis of data processing
LOHR + COMPANY processes the personal data specified above in accordance with the provisions of the DS-GVO, the other relevant data protection regulations and only to the extent necessary. Insofar as the processing of personal data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DS-GVO, the aforementioned purposes also represent our legitimate interests.
The processing of log data serves statistical purposes and the improvement of the technical quality of our internet pages, in particular the stability and security of the connection (legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DS-GVO).
The processing of cookies serves to document that you have taken note of the information on this data protection declaration (legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DS-GVO).
The processing of data transmitted by you via the contact form or via a contact request by e-mail serves to answer your contact request (legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DS-GVO).
The processing of the data transmitted by you in the context of applications serves to carry out the application procedure (legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DS-GVO). You will receive a separate data protection declaration from LOHR + COMPANY as soon as LOHR + COMPANY receives your application.
E. Duration of data processing
Your data will only be processed for as long as is necessary to achieve the above-mentioned processing purposes; the legal bases stated in the context of the processing purposes apply accordingly.
F. Your rights
You have the following rights vis-à-vis us with regard to the personal data concerning you: Right of access, Right of rectification or erasure, Right to restrict processing, Right to object to processing, Right to data portability. You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority about our processing of your personal data.
